Hart Farm Preserve was purchased by the Cornwall Conservation Trust in 2003. It consists of a total of 96 acres with lovely southern vistas from the top of Cherry Hill with picnic tables.
The mission of the Norfolk Library is to “enable learning and literacy, promote culture through the arts, and encourage the sharing of ideas.”

A field and forest walk along an old farm road, with open fields and picturesque woodland. The parking area: in the Gold's Pine parking lot which is between the Little Guild of St. Francis Animal Shelter and the Cornwall Volunteer Fire Dept.
Ballyhack Preserve was named for the steep wooded ravine along Baldwin Brook. The Ballyhack contains 200 year old white pine and hemlock trees, including Connecticut's second tallest tree (143 foot, 31 inch diameter).

The Foote-Pope Preserve is a 13-acre parcel located on Pierce Lane adjacent to the kiosk in Cornwall. The land is ideal for bird watching, walking, and cross country skiing and offers scenic views from the meadow.

Hike up Bloody Mountain to spectacular views of Cornwall Village. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at the picnic table at the top of the mountain. An easy ramble through the woods for 15 - 20 minutes with one very short uphill section.

The Rattlesnake Preserve consists of 90 acres and features old stone bridges and a concrete well. An easy walk in the woods while slowing at the marsh. There, walkers should watch for logs and stones to walk across if there has been a lot of rain.
